American Civil War Reading List

Hey Everybody!
This is Michael from the Reference Department at the Will Library.
I’m a huge Civil War history buff! I visited quite a lot of Civil War historic sites to feed my obsession. I’ve been to the battlefields of Fort Sumter, Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, the Wilderness, and Spotsylvania.
When I’m not driving from battlefield to battlefield, I enjoy reading about the Civil War. Being that the anniversary of it is coming up (April 17, 1861), I provided a list of my favorite Civil War books for my fellow history buffs. The books below can be found as ebooks in the provided links on Overdrive.

                                               Enjoy!

  2. Gods and Generals; The Killer Angels; The Last Full Measure by Michael and Jeff Shaara (combined into a single ebook)
