Riverfront Library:
Monday and Wednesday, 10 am-4 pm
Tuesday and Thursday, 12-6 pm
Friday and Saturday, 12-4 pm

Will Library:
Monday and Wednesday, 12-6 pm
Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am-4 pm
Friday and Saturday, 12-4 pm

Crestwood Library:
Tuesday, 3-6 pm
Wednesday, 10 am-1 pm
Friday, 10 am-1 pm
Saturday, 1-4 pm

Although we can’t fully reopen our library doors yet, we want to make our books and DVDs available to you through Contact-Free Pickup.  Please note that this service is only available to Yonkers Public Library (YPL) cardholders using YPL locations at this time. 

Also, book drops are now open at all Yonkers Public Libraries.

Here’s how it works:

  • For the time being, we are unable to transport library materials across YPL and Westchester Library System (WLS) locations. You can only access items that are already on the shelves of the YPL location where you’ll pick them up. You can still place holds for items at other libraries, but they won’t be fulfilled until interlibrary exchange resumes, so expect delays if you do.

  • For faster results, search the online catalog by branch location. Remember, you can only pick up books and DVDs from their current locations:
  • You can request up to 5 items at a time. Once you find an item you’d like, click the Place Hold button. If you’re not already logged in, enter your library barcode and PIN. If you don’t have one already, apply for a library card here.

  • When finalizing your hold, make sure you select a pickup location which owns the item.

  • Once your hold has been fulfilled, you’ll hear back from us via your preferred means of contact (phone, email or text). Your loan will begin as soon as you receive the notification. Seven additional days will be added to the item’s normal loan period. The sooner you pick up your hold, the longer you’ll get to borrow it. Reserved items that are not picked up within 7 days of notification will be checked back in so that another patron can borrow them.
