Yonkers Public Library (YPL) is open all Sundays (12-5 pm).

Tuesday, November 2, is the first day of Diwali, a five-day “festival of lights” celebrated in India by Hindus and people of other faiths. During Diwali, Hindus light oil lamps and decorate homes to represent the triumph of light over darkness and to honor Lakshmi, goddess of good fortune.
The Yonkers Public Library will host a Diwali Festival via ZOOM. This program is all about spreading cheer and remembering your loved ones! Celebrate Diwali with us through Music & Dance.
