Community Mosaic Workshop

Please join this exciting project to design and create a public art mosaic on permanent display in the Yonkers Riverfront Library. You will learn traditional mosaic techniques from master mosaicist Haifa Bint-Kadi while creating an important community-based mural to honor the history of the City of Yonkers and the important role of the library. You must register in advance by emailing: haifa@ypl.org and be willing to commit 2 days a month (2 hours each). Previous art skills are not required, but using mosaic tools does require arm strength. All tools and materials are provided by the library.
