Online access from home to FDO, Foundation Directory Online Essential, a comprehensive database on grantmakers and their grants. Search for grants here.  

Candid resources that can advance the work of nonprofits during the coronavirus crisis. Check out all the free shareable resources here!

 A pop-up web page to get you the information you need to do good during the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes a funding opportunities section, a funding summary, and other news items. Candid invites nonprofits seeking support because of the crisis, funders who wish to learn what their peers are doing, the media, and all others who wish to know more about philanthropy’s response to the pandemic to take advantage of this resource.

Emergency support during COVID: Candid has published a knowledge base article on GrantSpace with additional links to resources for nonprofits, individuals, artists, and small businesses. This list is being updated on an ongoing basis.

RFPs: Philanthropy News Digest publishes RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and notices of awards regularly, to enable searching for potential funding at this time. There is currently also a section announcing COVID-19 RFPs.

Candid Online Librarian service: Candid’s Online Librarians are now equipped to provide concierge services to their databases to anyone who needs fundraising support and cannot otherwise access FDO right now.

FREE online grants classes from Gale Courses available with your Yonkers Public Library card!

YPL is proud to offer free remote access to the wide-ranging online Gale Courses. Among the many topics offered are grant writing, proposal writing, and essentials of fundraising. Simply create an account with your library card barcode and PIN, and register for the courses of your choice. Certificates are available after courses are completed.
