It's a beautiful day to drop by the Yonkers waterfront to join Yonkers' poet laureate Golda Solomon, YPL, and other poets and organizations to write and read poems and make and fly kites. 1pm-5pm across from the Science Barge. Hope to see you there!

Yonkers Public Library will be closed Sunday, September 4 and Monday, September 5 for Labor Day. We reopen normal business hours on Tuesday. Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Go Fly A Poem! Join Yonkers' first poet laureate, Golda Solomon, and an anthology of poets and community organizations like YPL at Dock St. across the Science Barge on September 10th, 1-5pm. Build and fly a kite! Read and/or write a poem! All ages are welcome!

Start your Monday off right with Mayor Mike Spano's playlist filled with classics from Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder and Bon Jovi to new hit songs from Beyonce, Drake and Kendrick Lamar. What favorite song would you add to this playlist?!
