Yonkers Public Library (YPL) welcomes class visits to any of our three library branches. To request a class or school visit directly contact the branch children’s or teen department by email or phone or fill out the class visit form. A staff member will contact you shortly to discuss the visit in more detail. All branches require advance notice to schedule a visit.
We request that all students that do not already have library cards apply for one in advance of the class visit. You can download the YPL library card application (PDF) here. (Formulario en en español),
To ensure students are given active library cards on the day of their visit (and can borrow books and other materials during the visit!), please return completed applications to the branch at least a week before the visit.
