Winter Reading Warmup Challenge rules:

  • Read whatever books you enjoy or interest you. Don’t worry about length or age level. They all count count on your reading log.
  • Audiobooks count! If you’re commuting or multi-tasking you can still listen to books and learn from them. We have over 13,000 free MP3 audiobook titles available for download through our OverDrive service.
  • Children and their guardians are encouraged to each sign up for the challenge together. The books you read to you children, grandchildren and siblings count for both adult and children. Reading to children not only sparks curiosity and imagination, but increases their ability to focus, concentrate and communicate, and builds strong relations between the reader and child.
