Yesteryear at Sherwood House Museum

The Yonkers Historical Society recently set-up an exhibit at the Grinton I. Will Library. In their exhibition, titled “Yesteryear at Sherwood House Museum”, there are artifacts from the Sherwood House Museum. Some of these items include apothecary jars from a doctor’s office, a cast iron “snail” inkwell from the 1870s, and a sword from the 1800s. These are just some of the fascinating artifacts, ranging from pre-Revolutionary times to the the 20th Century, that are at the Sherwood House Museum. Please visit their historic exhibition in the Upper Lobby of the Grinton I. Will Library.

The Sherwood House Museum will be open on Sundays from April 16th-June 25th and from September 10th- December 3rd. Visit the Yonkers Historical Society website for more information about their visiting hours.

The Yonkers Historical Society has office hours at the Grinton I. Will library on Thursdays from 1 PM to 5 PM.
