Join Crestwood Historical Society IN PERSON at CRESTWOOD LIBRARY for coffee, cookies, and camaraderie at 10 a.m., and then at 10:30 followed by the featured presentation:

Tuckahoe: Marble Capital of the World

What do the Washington Monument, the Washington Square Arch, the US Capitol, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Soldier Field all have in common?

Marble from Tuckahoe was used in their construction!

Join Tuckahoe Village Historian Nicholas Zanzano as he digs deep into the history of the rock that put Tuckahoe on the map.
