Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

We're kicking off the new year with a Pokémon classic! Ash and friends take a pit stop to enjoy a festival and accidentally awaken a mysterious Lucario. When they learn that Pikachu has been kidnapped by a Mew, they join forces with Lucario on a rescue mission like no other. Program participants will receive a free Pokémon card while supplies last! First come, first served. 

During anime afternoons, we watch anime films for older children. Children must be between 6 and 12 enter. Teens and adults can enter if accompanying a child between 6 and 12 years old.

No person shall leave young children (ages eight and under) unattended anywhere on library premises. Parents or guardians are expected to look after their children while visiting the library with them.
