Event Details
Presented by ArtScapades, this lecture concentrates on artists who were working after the 1910 Mexican Revolution.
It was a period when artists set aside the constraints of colonialism and dictatorship, and began to tell the story of the Mexican people. The life and works of two of the most well-known Mexican Muralists, José Clemente Orozco and Diego Rivera will be discussed, as well as that of the infamous Frida Kahlo.
Done in collaboration with the Irvington, Harrison, and Mamaroneck Libraries.
This is Hybrid Program presented via Zoom: You may attend a public viewing at the library or watch online at home using your own device.
