Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

This month, to raise awareness and reading  of banned  books we invite you to complete our Banned Trivia quizzes. 

By participating, you will be exposed to previously silenced voices and support the survival of free speech in the US. 

Also, as a fun incentive, all our entrants will be entered into a raffle for a $5 Dunkin or Starbucks gift card.

Deadline for handing in your quiz is Friday, October 31st to the Crestwood Library Circulation Desk.
