Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Come join the author of  "We Got Our Own Thang" A book that gives you a look at Hip-Hop from The 914 (Westchester County, New York). This book doesn’t only celebrate the superstars and rap legends that grace its cover, like DMX, Heavy D & The Boyz and Mary J. Blige,  but many of the early legends.  The book highlights the contributions of individuals of The 914 in the 50-year history of Hip-Hop.
