Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Once again Jackie and Crestwood Crew set off for another adventure into the woods off of Read Avenue to declutter the area. Trees and plants need to breathe too! Feel free to celebrate on your own by clearing a local park or area near your house if you can't make it to the library to celebrate this much needed Earth Day. Every effort counts!
