Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

If you have ever visited Untermyer Gardens during their Grand Holiday Illumination, you know that it is a magical event. The Walled Garden is artfully lit with 100,000 lights, which are accompanied by recorded music from a variety of cultural traditions. Visitors meander through the garden and experience the wonder and joy of the season. Come see the only holiday lights show in the area that does not charge admission.  Drink a complimentary cup of hot chocolate served by Friends of Crestwood Library Board Members.

Children under 8

No person shall leave young children (ages eight and under) unattended anywhere on library premises. Parents or guardians are expected to look after their children while visiting the library with them.
