Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

This program is about the Great Hunger Memorial at Macy Park in Ardsley. This monument commemorates the suffering of millions of Irish peasants who died from the potato famine or were forced to leave their country.  

This program is co-sponsored by the Yonkers Historical Society.
