April 7 is National Beer Day, commemorating the day that prohibition was ended by the Cullen-Harrison Act in 1933. Get ready to celebrate with this presentation from the Beer Can Museum! Museum Curator Kevin Logan will share a family-friendly presentation covering the challenges - and innovations - that led to the eventual canning of beer following Prohibition in 1933. An impressive assortment of cans from the museum, including some of the very first beer cans, will be shared, as well as novelty cans, folk art, TV and movie props, and more.
This program is cosponsored with Town of Pelham Public Library, White Plains Library and other Westchester Libraries.
