Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Join us for an enchanting afternoon where the Bard's magic comes alive! Our Midsummer Garden Party invites you to revel in the joys of summer with fellow community members.

  • Shake a Leg with Shakespeare: Dance lessons with Tarsha Gibbons
  • "If Music Be the Food of Love": Special performance by the Yonkers Middle High School Acapella Group
  • All That Jazz: Closing concert featuring our beloved Library Jazz Band

Light refreshments served. Comfortable seating provided. Shakespearean attire encouraged but not required!
