Join Professor Val Franco at the Hudson River Museum for an exploration of its new exhibition, entitled Heat. The new show focuses on works from 40 different artists from various locations as they examine both the literal and figurative sense of heat through their work. If time permits, we will also look at the permanent installation, Bookstore, by artist Red Grooms. A fixture at the Hudson River Museum for decades, it’s a delightful immersive work that allows us to consider the importance of local gathering places like bookstores (and of course, our own library!).
Museum Entrance will be paid for through our NYSCA grant.
Tour is 1 hour, 15 minutes long, but feel free to wander around the museum after the tour. Registration is required.
