About the film: “Brick by Brick: A Civil Rights Story” is a one-hour 2007 documentary about a contemporary American battle for civil rights. The story follows three Yonkers families from the 1970s to the 1990s as they navigate a protracted and bitter confrontation in the city over housing and school desegregation.
