Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Jorge Luis Flores Manjarrez (Mexico City, 1968) began his career in 1996. His illustrations and cartoons have appeared in newspapers such as La Jornada, Reforma, and El Universal, as well as in Rolling Stone. He is the author of several iconic murals in the Mexico City Metro and of the work Dos Marías (2023) in Yonkers, NY. He has exhibited in Mexico and abroad, including ARTEXPO New York (2021). He is currently the President of the Mexican Association of Cartoonists.

Sus ilustraciones y caricaturas han aparecido en periódicos como La Jornada, Reforma y El Universal, así como en Rolling Stone. Es autor de varios murales emblemáticos en el Metro de la Ciudad de México y de la obra Dos Marías (2023) en Yonkers, NY. Ha expuesto en México y en el extranjero, incluyendo ARTEXPO New York (2021). Actualmente es presidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Caricaturistas.
