Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will present this captivating Lotus Lantern Craft Workshop. Immerse yourself in the beauty and symbolism of Korean culture as you construct your own exquisite lotus flower lantern under the guidance of skilled artisans. Each participant will be shown, step by step, how to make a beautiful lotus flower lantern using colored paper and a pre-made wireframe, while also learning about Korea’s unique history and culture.

Space is limited and registration is required.
