Join Yonkers on the Move for a look at what's with the birds and the plants in Lenoir Preserve at the change of the season.
Meet at the Lenoir Nature Center. Walk is led by Lenoir Preserve Conservation chair, Debbi Dolan.
The walks are mostly on level paved pathways. The last part of the walk goes through the Copper Beech Trail. It goes through a wooded area, on a dirt path, with some rocks and roots to watch out for, and small inclines and descents.
The walks are one and a half hours long and cover about a mile. If you have binoculars, bring them. Parking available; port-a-potties by Nature Center.
Registration is REQUIRED. Meet at the Info Center where we will start the tour at 9:30am sharp.
Please wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water, sunscreen, and a hat.
