Join us for a Sunday afternoon of 60's music, featuring toe-tapping, hip shaking tunes and arrangements from the 1960s, including works by Count Basie, Thad Jones, Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Bob Brookmeyer, Oliver Nelson and more.
The Library Jazz Band is a full 17-piece jazz orchestra including saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and a rhythm section. Members are from Yonkers, Westchester and the tri-state area and come together to play the great classics of big band music as well as original works.
This program is part of a three-performance series funding through ArtsWestchester.
