Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

UNESCO’s International Jazz Day

This concert will feature instruments many audience members may not have seen in this setting before: the tuba and the baritone and bass saxophones. Featuring jazz classics and the original music of tuba and baritone horn virtuoso Joseph Daley, veteran of Liberation Music Orchestra and band member of so many adventurous greats including Sam Rivers, Carla Bley, Gil Evans, Charlie Haden, Muhal Richard Abrams, Taj Mahal and many more.
