Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Interested in doing research on Yonkers and Westchester history? Join us for a research drop-in and learn about what the YPL Archives has to offer. We can show you additional resources for your research, and help you find what you need. Genealogists and family history researchers are welcome, too!

It is assumed that all events are free and open to the general public. If admittance will be restricted in any way, that must be indicated on the application. The Library reserves the right to have staff and/or Board members in attendance even if the program is otherwise closed to the general public.
