Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison.

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Medicare can be confusing. Figuring out which type of plan makes the most financial sense for you might seem overwhelming. Through this step-by-step workshop, the instructor puts numbers to paper and compares the two main approaches to Medicare coverage. Sample costs for premiums and healthcare services will be compared for a clearer picture of what to expect. Gain a better understanding of your own healthcare needs and the confidence to choose a plan that fits your situation. This session is valuable both for those approaching Medicare eligibility and for current beneficiaries looking to reassess their options during the annual enrollment period (October 15 - December 7).

As a Licensed Insurance Agent and the proprietor of MediWisely, Susan Steinberg is passionate about helping individuals demystify Medicare.
