We will be meeting at the museum, which is located in New York City 1000 Fifth Avenue shortly before 10 AM on Thursday, May 8th.   Meet to the right of the information kiosk inside the museum.

Join Professor Val Franco is Crestwood Library explores the world of the Metropolitan Museum of art  and the work of Caspar David Friedrich.  The awe inspiring, emotional works of the Romantics are brought to life in Friedrich’s paintings, and we will examine these and other works together by other artists as time permits. 

Tour is 1.5 hours long but feel free to wander around the museum after the tour.   Registration is required. 

We will be meeting at the museum, which is located in New York City- you are responsible for finding your way to and from the museum.
