Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever that we are prepared for disasters. This training program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any time of disaster including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on emergency supplies.
