Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

Please join Jeremiah Drummond creator of Precubs of Love in an event sponsored by Yonkers Public Library and Friends of Crestwood Library. We will be crocheting 3 x 3 granny squares to be assembled into blankets to be donated to local hospitals for premature infants. Beginner to advanced crocheters welcome! If you want to crochet a full blanket that is great too!

Limited supplies of crochet needles and yarn available on a first come, first served basis.

Community Service Hours are available to those who need them.
