Event Details
Christel Aruba, a professor of Fashion Technology from WCC, will talk about methods used to create period-accurate garments and and how costume elements are engineered for authenticity. Aruba will talk about clothing preservation techniques used during the filming of History With Grit, a documentary about John Edward "Grit" Bruce. There will be a display of completed heritage costumes on mannequins for attendees to examine.
