Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Women born and raised in Westchester and women who settled in the county because of its proximity to Manhattan, natural beauty, fine schools, tight-knit neighborhoods, and rural charm. This 60-minute illustrated presentation by Barbara Davis features a sampling of the businesswomen, artists, scientists, activists, athletes, authors, and others whose work and lives left a significant legacy.
