Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

Join the Yonkers Historical Society for a tour of historic St. John's Cemetery. We will meet at the cemetery, which can be reached through the Oakland Cemetery at 2 Saw Mill River Road. Please be prepared to walk and bring comfortable walking shoes. The ground may be uneven and difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues.

It is assumed that all events are free and open to the general public. If admittance will be restricted in any way, that must be indicated on the application. The Library reserves the right to have staff and/or Board members in attendance even if the program is otherwise closed to the general public.
