Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

Planting in the winter? No problem because we are starting our cold weather vegetables such as Italian "Heart of Blue" Cabbage and some Winter Kale. We will also force start basic herbs such as parsley and rosemary. Join us to talk about the preparations for the spring garden and how to make bar hand lotion for dry winter skin.
