Imagination Playground is an innovative play system that transforms any space into a play space that encourages learning, social development, movement, and of course, fun! Children's Room, 2nd Floor

Build something special with legos and put it on display! This program is for children up to age 12.

Come play in the sensory room! Sensory room open hours are from 1 to 3pm on Wednesdays in October. 

Join Say Marte for a fun hour of mixed media and munching in celebration of Italian American Heritage Month.

All supplies & snacks are provided, just bring your creativity.

Our Sensory Room is on the road! Enjoy equipment typically only available in the Sensory Room for an hour of free play in The Cove. Plus, some additional puzzles and toys will be available to try!

October 16th is National Fossil Day! Join us as we celebrate by making necklaces and keychains with pretend fossils. Materials available while supplies last.

Student tutors from Sarah Lawrence College will read with students ages 5-12.

Children can read to Cooper the Therapy Dog in person.   

Recommended for ages 5 to 10.

Each child gets 10 minutes to read so please register in advance.

After school homework help with Ashley Alvarez, a qualified tutor for grades K-7. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4-6:30pm.

Kids can practice reading to Cooper, a certified therapy dog who works with the R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs®), a national program that helps children improve their reading skills.

Paint a small pumpkin for Halloween! Registration required; limited availability of pumpkins. Pumpkins generously provided by Stop & Shop, 111 Vredenburgh Ave. Recommended for children aged 4-8.
