The Hudson River as Muse, the Hudson River as Teacher

On October 7th, Riverfront Library hosted Yonkers Poet Laureate Golda Solomon and friends (including Katori Walker, Debbie Dolan and Deborah Maier) in the Childrens' Library for "Making W.A.A.V.E.S. (Write. Art. Activism. Values. Environment. Share.)" for art, crafts, and poetry writing.

Many of the poems and artwork created at the event are featured in the latest edition of Hello Hudson magazine: "The Hudson River as Muse, the Hudson River as Teacher."

We're excited that a library event resulted in poetry and artwork that is now captured in a publication! You can read the online version of that magazine here.
