Spring into Learning with Tutor.com

YPL is here to help. If you’re looking for a great tutoring and support resource, you can access Tutor.com for free with your library card!

Tutor.com is an online tutoring service that connects K-12 students online with qualified tutors in math, science, social studies and English. Live tutoring sessions can be conducted over virtual chat or with voice. All tutoring services are available in English and Spanish. Live tutoring is available every day from 9 AM to 10 PM, giving students plenty of time after school to get the extra help they need.

Writing an important paper? Take advantage of Tutor.com’s 12-hour document review service! Whether you’re struggling with the writing process or you just want a second set of eyes to review your work, just let a tutor know what you’re working on and receive valuable feedback. 

Is your head spinning with numbers? You can also drop off math questions for Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. You can describe your problem to a tutor and they’ll provide a step-by-step explanation within 24 hours.

Tutor.com also offers practice exams for SAT/ACT prep, AP exam prep, as well as grad school tests. You can also take practice quizzes for a wide variety of subjects, which is great when you’re looking to reinforce your knowledge before a test. Videos are also available for math and English.
