Cesar Chavez in Yonkers
On June 27, 1974, Cesar Chavez joined United Farm Workers union workers outside Hills Supermarket in Yonkers. They were picketing the supermarket to discourage shoppers from buying non-union Gallo wine, grapes, and lettuce.
