Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! We're screening animated movies with Hispanic protagonists to celebrate.

On September 20th, we're watching The Book of Life. In the afterlife, the Queen of the Remembered and King of the Forgotten make a bet on the lives of three friends in the town of San Angel. When the king cheats, can the humans they've been toying with set everything right?
