Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! We're screening animated movies with Hispanic protagonists to celebrate.

On October 11th, we're watching Coco. Miguel is a kid from the Mexican town of Santa Cecilia who loves music. Unfortunately, his family does not - after his great great grandfather left to seek musical fame, it was banned from the house. When Miguel chases his dreams right into the Land of the Dead, he learns that his family history is more complicated than it seems. Will he make it back home in time to reveal the truth?
