Will Library will reopen at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. It has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and had power restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Discover the beauty of the Italian language through the timeless music of Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, and other legendary artists. This unique course blends very beginner-level Italian with iconic musical pieces. 

Learn simple Italian grammar and vocabulary to help build a foundational understanding and then explore the lyrics of a famous Italian song—translating, understanding and discussing the vocabulary. Matthew will also sing live for the class, allowing you to hear the language in a musical sense.
