Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

Anusha Vaish will engage youth with the secret life of little critters.  Children listen to story, make honary bug headbands, and listen to Anusha explain the importance of insects in the environment.

Anusha, who calls herself an insect guardian, has spoken at the UN,  and was awarded the Young Achiever in Nature Preservation Award.
