Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison.

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Designated Historic properties are America’s way of preserving and understanding our past. Interpreting those properties through archaeology, ethnohistory, and history permits us to step back and see a different world. Watch examples of Historic Properties that range in time over thousands of years.

Done in collaboration with Mainstream of WCC. Funded through the US Department of Health & Human Services—Administration on Aging (AoA), New York State Office for the Aging, Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services.
