Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Program Description

Event Details

Have fun at Indoor Recess! We have fun things to play with like jump ropes, hula hoops, hopscotch, a kid-sized basketball hoop, and lots more. This program is partially funded by a Westchester County Fitness Grant, which has enabled us to buy new equipment in 2024, including a soccer ball and net, a toddler balance beam, and stepping stones for playing Floor is Lava.

Children under 8

No person shall leave young children (ages eight and under) unattended anywhere on library premises. Parents or guardians are expected to look after their children while visiting the library with them.

Parents must stay
