Is your Medicare plan right for you? Each year brings new Medicare health plan and drug coverage choices. The Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period (October 15-December 7) is the only time when everyone with Medicare can make changes to their health and drug plans for the coming year.

Visit the Senior Benefits Information Center (SBIC) at the Library to receive, one-on- one, individualized counseling about the latest Medicare health plan options and prescription coverage to help you choose the options that are just right for you! If you have high prescription drug costs, visit us to learn everything you need to know about the $2,100 prescription drug cost cap and the new Medicare Prescription Payment Plan!  Learn more about Fall Open Enrollment options and considerations HERE.

Services are provided at no cost, by trained HIICAP volunteer counselors sponsored by the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services who are unaffiliated with private insurance companies. When you visit, please bring your Medicare insurance card(s), a list of your prescription medications, including dosage information and if you are interested in a Medicare Advantage plan bring a list of the Medicare plans accepted by your doctors to find the best plan for your needs.

In the Computer Room, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. No registration needed.

Can't make it to the library then? Call the Medicare HelpLine at (914) 813-6100 and speak to a counsellor, or to schedule an appointment, call 914-417-9102.
