Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

STEM/Technology

STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. These four fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. 

Register separately for each weekly topic. Students attend all 4 sessions during the week. No prior skills required for workshops.

Digital Drawing

In this hands-on digital art program, students will explore the basics of digital drawing tools and learn how to use layers to build full illustrations. Throughout the week, they'll plan and create their own comic strips—designing original characters, crafting scenes, and telling short stories through their artwork. By the end of the program, each student will have a unique digital comic to share!
