Will Library reopened at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

This summer, we're watching family films entirely in Spanish! Each one will be subtitled in English to support families with both Spanish and English speakers. All families with kids welcome! See below for the full schedule.

  • July 12th - Scoob (PG)
  • July 26th - The Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG)
  • August 9th - Moana (PG)
  • August 23rd - Sonic the Hedgehog (2020, PG)

No person shall leave young children (ages eight and under) unattended anywhere on library premises. Parents or guardians are expected to look after their children while visiting the library with them.
