Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Event Details

Come visit the library for midday hangout with fellow patrons, playing games and enjoying light refreshments. 

Spend your time with old and new friends with either dominoes, cards, Scrabble, Clue, Monopoly, backgammon, chess, checkers, or Jenga. Or maybe you'd prefer a relaxing time of coloring using our array of supplies and coloring sheets. It's whatever you want! Also feel free to bring your own favorite games/activities.  

Coffee and snacks will be served. 

Please note: Knitting & crocheting have their own program at the library on Mondays at 1 pm
