The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will run a tax assistance and preparation service at the Grinton I. Will Library beginning on February 3 - April 15, 2026.

In-person at the Will Library for ages 0-5. Songs, Nursery Rhymes, finger plays, and stories. No registration.

Isn't it nice, making things by hand? Come by our Community Room and knit to your heart's content, or avail yourself of our adult coloring books. All levels of knitting skill are welcome, and patterns will be provided.

Excel is a valuable program used in the workplace and even at home. Learn the basics of working with a spreadsheet in this 2 part series. Registration required.

As we slowly escape the snow and frigid temperatures, it's time to prepare the working elements of a fruitful garden. Soil! Be prepared to get your hands dirty planting some of the seeds we harvested at Crestwood Library raised beds.

Join us to experience virtual reality with ClassVR! For this session, we'll have programs about space exploration and the solar system. Get an up close look at the cosmos - our educational headsets will give you a front row seat for the fun!

Enjoy some extra afternoon fun! We'll have The Cove stocked with puzzles and toys that aren't typically available - including chalk.

Student tutors from Sarah Lawrence College will read with students ages 5-12.

Children can read to Cooper the Therapy Dog in person.   

Recommended for ages 5 to 10.

This program is located in the Main Children's Room

Each child gets 10 minutes to read so please register in advance.

Teens can join their friends in Tech Central to play PS 5, XBOX, Switch, or computer use.

This free program is available to students in grades K–7 and runs during the school year while school is in session.

Schedule:

Homework Help from a certified teacher for grades 1-6. No registration. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 4-6PM; Thursdays 4-5:30PM. Only when Yonkers Public Schools are in session.

The Last Homework Helper will end on June 11.

Homework Help from a certified teacher for Kindergarten to Grade 6.

No registration required.
